Part 1: womanhood
Somehow, the equality fight between men and women has led to a society of women who have lost self respect, who don’t seem to know what dignity, grace and class are anymore. The obsession to act like and be like the male counterpart has transcended even the most basic things. It’s only scary because the coming generation is growing up in a valueless and principle-less world.
Also somehow, this behaviour has stuck much more with black women than all the other races. Especially in more modern regions like South Africa, and the USA.
We need new black women, because the current lot has absolutely lost the meaning of womanhood, femininity, nurturing, grace, dignity and self respect.

Dressing up is dressing down
The obsession with the buttock (ass) competition has created soft nudity in every social media space. Not only are young women subjecting themselves to being sex symbols, there's a perception that women own their body’s so they can do anything they want with them. This is something that was introduced by the feminist era. However being sexy and being skanky have a very thin line. Covering ones private parts is decency, but covering your body is self respect.
cover your body, be presentable and respectable
wear nice body flattering clothes that don't look sluttish - to feel and look sexy
Feminism isn’t being masculine
Since the dawn of equality, we have seen homes and societies break up. And this is not just because women became liberated. Men also forgot their place in society. The masculine leadership that a man brought, laid a foundation for a woman to not only respect him but herself as well. In essence, men will not stop women who parade themselves because they benefit from it. Again, the two bulls in the same kraal scenario has created a misalignment in how men present themselves but also how women treat men.
Submission is whats missing. As this was the very thing that separated us from masculinity. Submission does not have to be oppressive, and it certainly does not warrant abuse. It’s just being able to be soft, to let things go, to pick your battles, to protect the nucleus structure at all costs. It means sometimes letting the man get his way. Because end of the day, you are just a woman you’re nobody’s security guard.
We need new women because we need to find what it is that makes women different from men, not similar. We can all work, run companies, raise kids, build homes but there are specific qualities that a woman has that a man will never have and vice versa. It goes beyond monetary prowess too. Men can become better men if society gave them a bit of softness, and promoted healthy masculinity - that builds and leads. And it starts with women having self respect, standards, values and principles. It starts with how women behave and interact among themselves, how they handle conflict and their relationships in general. Women have always been the builders, the leaders and creators of good. We need to find that again, and embrace it.
In the next piece, ill delve into new women and relationships.
